Children's Dance
In preparation for high stakes testing, 4th graders participate in a Dance & Math Integration Unit. After learning to do pirouette turns as 1/4 turns, 1/2 turns, whole turns, 1 1/4 turns, etc., they converted these fractions into decimals, percentages, and degrees. They used higher level thinking skills to predict the pattern.
